Mary Ann Huey established M.A. HUEY, P.A. on January 1, 2007. From January 2001 through 2006, Ms. Huey was associated with Kendall Coffey, P.A. and Coffey & Wright, LLP in Miami, Florida, where she engaged in complex commercial, real property and construction litigation. In 2005, Ms. Huey expanded her practice to include family law and small estate planning, and in 2006, she added probate litigation. In 2009, Ms. Huey's practice again expanded to include bankruptcy matters. Prior to joining Kendall Coffey, Ms. Huey practiced in Dallas, Texas from 1990 through 2000, where she focused on civil and probate litigation, and maintained an office practice which included small estate planning and entertainment law. Ms. Huey was drafted by the Dallas County Democratic Party to run for district court judge in 2000, and garnered 49.63% of the votes cast. From 1979 to 1989, Ms. Huey practiced in Ocala, Florida in the areas of civil, family, real estate, probate and employment litigation, and maintained a general office practice.
In January 2011, Mary Ann Huey began working with LYDECKER DIAZ on a number of challenging and meritorious cases, and is winding down and closing M.A. HUEY, P.A. cases.
Ms. Huey's work at LYDECKER DIAZ to date involves representation of the Florida Department of Insurance, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and international banking authorities.
